Hey fam,

How's everything back home it sounds like everyone is having a good time.
I am having a great time!! I don't understand what anyone is saying to me
but my companion helps me out. He has been here 20 monthsand has had 16
different companions in his mission. He is really funny and we get along
great. I have been to 2 lessons here in Beira the first one was at some
lady's house and we taught her on the porch. But i usually just add my
testimony at the end of whatever my companion says. He says that the
language will just come with time. We taught another lesson to another
lady that same night and my companion said not to freak out because alot
of people have rats in there houses. I think i kinda freaked out when one
came running across my leg it was freaky i guess i had never even seen a
rat and to have one run across my leg was a good experience it gets me
more aware of what can happen during a lesson. Any who The house we live
in is huge and the food here is awesome it is so good. We have an elder
from Mozambique in our house and his companion is fron brazil they are
like the best cooks ever. I love my air conditioner it gets so hot!!! I go
out and walk the streets and whenever we stop i just start sweating like
crazy, i don't think i have ever sweated this much in my life but it is
awesome. You'll have to let me know how Shelley's next game goes thats
cool that they beat Kimberly again. The churchbuilding here in Beira is
awsome it is so big and it has AC. We watched conference last night and
since i had already seen it i sat andjust talked with all theother elders.
It's a whole new lifestyle that will probably take some getting used to
but i'm ready for it. It's gonna be fun the members here are so nice they
know i can't speak the language and they are very patient with my speaking
ability. My comp. is in theBranch presidency here so we are at the church
alot but he's trying to get all the paper work worked out its tough work.
But ya it's so cool here everyone is so layed back everyone is just
relaxed. Alot of the people are interested in what we have to say and will
always listen. So the first day i was here guess what i did i went to a
wedding it was so weird they started like singing in weird dialects and
stuff but it was pretty awesome. The person leading the weddings phone
went off right in the middle of it that was kinda emberassing. I am in the
Beira 1 district elder Barrus is too but he lives in a different house. I
hope that you will write back and let me know whats going on at home. It's
awesome here. i look forward to hearing from you and hopefully next week i
will have some better stories for ya. You can send me photo's through the
internet i just found out and that would be awesome. But i guess i'll go
until next week Have a good one
Your Son and Brother,
Elder Edwards
